However, Shimokita Sundays is just whacky.........5% is still a a little low for this drama. I thought it might be closer to the 7-10%

Its suppose to be a drama with some humor in it.
You can definately see it, but its not quite funny like Tiger and Dragon or Kisarazu Cats Eye.

For you, I say watch this when you abosolutely have nothing else to watch
