But most of them who have watched j doramas and say that the plots are weird etc and they don't actually like the storyline and maybe the leads.
Whereas for K or TW dramas, I can see that they all focus on lovey-dovey shows. >< This girl fell in love with this guy and found out he is sick, or is related to her etc..the list just goes on. |
plots are weird? hmm actually from whatever dramas i've watched so far (taiwan, hk, mainland, local, korean), i would say jdramas have the best plots (and i actually enjoy how they do NOT focus on love all the time but yet somehow miraculously incorporate that kind of subtle love in). Lol i hope you all know what i mean -.-
anyway *blushes* i started a thread in the suggestion part of the mediacorp forum to request for more jdramas shown. Go support it if you're for jdramas having more air time over here!

what the heck ? weird plots ? maybe those that they watch have 'darker' plots [ eg. rondo ] ... most likely they just like to watch TW dramas with on one girl having a crush on the boy , they fall in love , but problems occur ... and those who always say that K dramas are weepy , actually i find those dramas more like ... non-weepy . basically it's because i don't like the acting of Korean actor and actresses [you notice when they are shocked or surprised or angry , they full a clutched hand on the chest and go 'aaa' [ young actresses ] or 'aii-gu ...' [old ladies] ] . seriously iritating . and most jdoramas have lot that start blooming early that's why they don't notice it ....

HELLO! did anyone read this week's u-weekly?? Under the section where readers are allowed to write in (page 20), there is this awesome reader who wrote in to request for jdramas being shown on TV! She requested for E语. (gomen i don't know the romanji for this drama. sekai sth..) I THINK i will be writing in as well to request for one litre of tears (and nobuta wo produce too, perhaps)
Haha any pro-chinese writers here? I haven't written anything in chinese after my HCL Os last year

oh yay! thanks so much!! Hmm if it isn't too much trouble, can you also write about how mediacorp has been showing too much of kdramas and taiwanese dramas and it would be a fresh change to have more jdramas instead to offer viewers with more variety. And also jdramas are attractive in their subtle way of touching one's heart which give viewers great satisfaction upon watching them. And also it appeals to audiences of all age groups!

and Ling79 , though you say that you are old and that it's been donkey years since you've written chinese , i seriously doubt so . it seems PERFECTLY fine to me .

I also yearn for Jdramas and Music Station to come back on local chnl.... |
hmm any idea how to start one? i guess there are those online petitions thingy available but i have never used any of those before.
hopefully the request for jdramas on the MCS forum will be taken into consideration as well. i pm-ed the moderator in charge of the thread and according to her, the relevant MCS personnel checks the suggestions thread from time to time and some of the suggestions have been brought to action before.
once again if you haven't, go request for more jdramas/j-related shows on mediacorp here: http://forum.mediacorp.com.sg/board/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20354
