TS is having a price-cut during Great-Singapore-Sale.
Sort of neutralised its recent price-rise... but only selected Jdramas.

went to pok kim in century sq. very few jap dramas available. sian. should have bought more from overseas . quality better and cheaper.

coz last time Liang Court's Poh Kim sold more japanese dramas than other areas Poh Kim ...

i know last time at Liang Court got one japanese drama/movie video shop (newest one also have .. but w/o subtitles) ... tat shop quite big ... but the other time went back tat shop already not there le ...

Well, I think its because Liang Court is usually visited by a lot of Japanese tourists. Thats why maybe there's more J Dramas there...

Yeah. I recalled not seeing any video store there the last time about 2 months back. Guess it winded up already.

Any more places to reccomend people? Or maybe dramas... I only watched about 5 or 6 titles... some on Channel 8 and some rented titles...

I think in Singapore, there is no such thing as biggest store like in JB....

For me, I still visit Liang Court's Poh Kim regularly for newest chinese subbed vcds.... Their price is cheaper compared to TS. And various TS are selling japanese dramas, last last season's ones and last season's ones... (I even saw Nino's newest Yasashii Jikan in Tiong Bahru TS)!

As for latest j-doramas that are still in run, maybe u can try using bitorrent to download.. I think most of us in this forum is loading them using bt. It is definitely the fastest way to get hold of the shows.

Yep! I kinda select my dramas. Looking for more Domoto Tsuyoshi, Ryoko Hirosue, Nanako Matsushima ones. Some others to name also...

ya..i agree. it's so expensive. i was trying to get waterboys 2 there at TS eastpoint, and it was sold at $32.90! No discount some more..is it like that for all branches? I was trying to get waterboys 1 too but they didn't sell. Anyone noe where i can get these 2 series elsewhere at a cheaper price? Does Liang Court's Poh Kim sell these?

hihi !! Poh Kim do sell "Water Boys 2" ! i rmb seeing it at Hougang Mall Top Floor Poh Kim outlet ~~ as for Water Boys 1 .. i dun rmb Poh Kim got sell part 1 ... not very sure for tat ~

Sheesh... I feel like a foreigner here... I dun even know Spore sells that much doramas... I work in Shanghai and buys all my DVDs there. So no need to buy back home lah... besides so cheap in SH...
