On the show, the Japanese don't seem to like the crust on the bread: they always cut it off on the sandwiches... And they put way too much mayo/mustard on the sandwiches: one bite and that stuff is all over the place.... |
cutting the crust of the bread is very common in japan, when you'll buy a sandwich or something you mostly get it without the crest and tyey love mayo they sometimes even cut the crest from toasts...

When I was a little kid I didn't like the crust, but we're talkin' about adults here... Without the crust, the sandwiches look sorta gay.
