I haven't done that, but I've set the wrong channel or time (AM/PM)... Then when I watch the show, it's like "WTF is this crap????" hehe In love

I forgot to change the channel on the cable box once. Instead of HBO, I ended up recording some informercials....2 hours worth. Doh!

lol lol Were they good infomercials at least, like those Time-Life music collections? I'm surprised I haven't bought any of those yet: I seem to always sit through those informercials. Beaten

Or were they for knives or vacuums, or portable barbeque grills? bleh

Yeah, but they never show or tell you if it's easy to clean or not. Sweat

Hmm, I think there was a Ronco rotisserie, some cash flow thing or real estate...., the Video Professor, among them.

it's not hard, if you clean it relatively soon after you use it... once it's dried and caked on... well.. get out the sandblaster.

It'd be nice if you could remove some of the panels so you could wash 'em in the sink or the dishwasher. Smile

The same could be said with the early George Foreman grills. I rarely used it in my apartment in college because I was (am) too lazy to check that thing. A wet paper towel?...Yeah right. Shake Head

my mom just got the Foreman grill, and i was like...

WHAT?????? WHY!!?!?!

she said her friend had one, and it was easier than using the propane grill outside.
So yeah, she used it twice, and it's now in the closet.

I use mine from time to time, but it's a PITA to clean. I don't think they did their focus groups. Either that or the people who tested it were morons.

And that is why you would never find one used on Dotch Cooking. It would be embarassing.

It isn't bad, what i dont like is how you have to have the same thickness food. the thick ones get charred, and the thinner ones are still raw.

or maybe im an idiot.

yeah, that foreman grill, cooked wonders.....easy to use, even for me. I cooked salmon, steak, polish sausages, and chicken on it, but to clean the grill was a pain. hehe

It really needs to be designed better, the handle is in the wrong place, everytime i lift the top off, the steam follows the top and my hand gets hit with a blast of hot steam. Grumble Grumble Grumble
