Wow you all finished it!
Remember me?
Sad little Denchi expert ^^;;
I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. I thought the ending was so touching, but also it was so short! I was so surprised when I sat down to watch it and it was over.
Heh, it made me go to the mall and buy the book finally.
Sorry I haven't been around, been busy with work and stuff. But I just got the manga in the mail (yes, there is a manga of denchi) its pretty interesting... Yuka's in it, but the rest is completely different then the show. Nice story though.
I'll translate it if anyone wants to take a look sometime.
Heh, I should finish translating the book first, ne?
Well, take care, and enjoy the next series (don't know it)

MixxDreamer and noodlefreak, thanks for welcoming me ^^;
And gah, I was just thinking, it would have been great if they did an episode on Satori's Restaurant friend who's name doesn't come to mind ( hate that ) proposing to her, and her just like... Not sure of her feelings toward him, maybe having the children help -her- decide or something. I don't know... Blah. Don't be surprised if one day I whip out a fanfic for that scenario .__.;;
And as for Maiko and Mamiya.. I know! I mean... It was sort of random for me. Maiko telling him she missed him around, he sort of helping her through Kaoru's condition resembling a friend of hers.. And then you don't really hear about that. .... Again, don't be surprised if that one fanfic I mention also includes this. >.<;;;
Welcome Jeshika-san. I believe in this drama there was no true romance between anybody in the drama with the exception of Kaoru and that boy...forgot his name. Certainly none for the adults.
Maybe a message was being sent. Sometimes people are so involved in their jobs and love it so much and give out love...they don't see or know how to see it coming their way or receive it?
The way the drama ended...there is always room for a sequel or some special. So maybe some pairings will occur.

And, I, too, watched Denchi since the first episode. I love it, personally. Hell, I recorded every episode I watched, and am in love with the music in it.
I loved this drama. It was fantastic with lots of emotion and managing to have lots of heartwarming moments despite the setting.
In the thread for dr܂ (Till the Battery Runs Out) at creidesca's board (for California viewers, focusing mostly on KSCI/KXLA/KTSF, although all are welcome, of course), I've posted pictures from each episode starting with the second one plus all the little compositions and Kaoru's letter. Feel free to take a look and relive the series. (And for any who missed some episodes, between my pictures and the episode summaries at the series' official site, you can get a pretty good sense of what happened, even if you have to read them via a mangled machine translation.)

What, you mean you don't count n^ and her boyfriend?

That would be fantastic but also a huge amount of work, I'm sure.
Question for everyone here: I noticed that the closing credits for the fifth episode included a shot that was not in the episode and the credits for a later episode also included a scene that wasn't in the episode. Before that, I wasn't really watching the credits closely since I didn't realize some contained outtakes or extra scenes. Were there any such extras in the closing credits of episodes one through four? _________________

anyway, the last ending credits was just a bunch of them (all the children in the cast except yuka) at the park having fun playing games and eating barb-que.. is that what youre asking?
No, I'm talking about the close of each episode.
For example, episode 5 had these outtakes from the soccer ball kick.
And episode 6 had this extra scene:
I was wondering if there were any other extras. _________________
