Teams finally wised up and started doubling on Kobe that's why... Yeah, it can only help the team I think, but maybe not in the win column, short term.
i think if Kobe limited his shots and not throw up 30 attempts a game, and distributed it more, probably maybe cause he lacks faith in them. i would like to see him be a play maker and increase his assists per game and better shot selection insteading, i suppose his teammates need to step up and be more involved.

If only Caron Butler is still with the Lakers, Phil Jackson would have other option aside from Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom. Butler is averaging 16.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists this season, numbers that could have helped the Lakers .
Anyway, the Detroit Pistons took out their frustrations on the New Jersey Nets by beating them 85-71 . The Pistons tightened their defence in the 4th quarter and the Nets never got closer than 17 points before closing the game . _________________
New Jersey Nets defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 95-94 . Carter drove the lane and missed but took the rebound and followed it with one hand to score and give the Nets the lead with 9.6 seconds left. Then, they played tight defence and took the victory . _________________
Lakers lose to another lousy team, the Hawks, 114-110.
They blow a 15-point lead in the second quarter.
Excruciating.
The Lakers must have played with the Hawks' level of game. They should stop underestimating their weaker opponents .
I'm surprised by those teams that the Hawks have defeated. I just checked their schedule and despite their bad record, they have defeated teams like the Cavaliers, Spurs and even the Pistons! _________________
The problem should have been solved then . The team's free-throw percentage increased from 69% (with O'Neal) to 74%. Maybe it just wasn't their day. _________________
The newspaper mentioned there was at least seven games they blew in the final couple of minutes, due to poor FT shooting and even poorer defense.
Sheeesh....that's bad . Shaq must have cast some kind of spell before he left the Lakers, which makes this team miss those free-throws on crucial moments . _________________
warriors had it really bad with FT's, not sure how they are now, but they are still losing...
Seems that bad free-throw shooting is the reason why most teams are losing .
Yahoo! It's the All-Star weekend, my favorite time of the NBA season . Looking forward to the 3 point shootout, the slam dunk contest and the point guard skill challenge _________________
