But the big guy used to play for the Lakers, right? So you were not rooting for the Lakers back then? Sweat

Don't get me wrong, I was happy that they won those three straight, but I never liked Shaq's "skills."

How can you call yourself a "professional" and shoot free throws worse than my grandmother and/or let yourself get fat and oft-injured?

I hear he was pretty torques after getting benched for most of the fourth quarter in the game against the Cavs... Mourning played with a lot more energy.

Because he was in shape. Thumbsup

I see. Yeah, Shaq is really bad in free throws bleh . About being fat, his reason was because of his age now, but Mourning wasn't far from O'Neal's age too and still maintained his athletic figure (not to mention him taking a long break from his kidney surgery). But you have to admit that Shaq was a dominant force inside the paint during his prime Mr Green .

I don't remember much of Shaq back when he was with Orlando.....but wasn't he a lot more agressive back then?
I think now, he depends a lot on his weight to push people around while he underneath the basket so he can go for those easy dunks or hook shots Sweat
he does seem slower, but i think if he focuses on trying to get his speed back instead of trying to get more muscle, it'll help his game a bit.....but for sure he needs to work on his free throws Sweat
I don't think practicing it while eating some tacos will help Shake Head

He was more aggressive back then. Less weight and more speed during his youth. Now, it's the other way around hehe . About his free throws, I think it's a hopeless case now Beaten .

The USA basketball team bound for the World Championship picked up Bruce Bowen to be in the lineup........What the hell?! Google . If they picked him simply because they need defense at the small forward spot, there are guys like Tayshaun Prince who plays real defense and have some offense too, unlike Bowen who just happen to play a dirty game, which makes him look good when it comes to defense Shake Head . But aside from this guy, I think almost everyone in the lineup deserve to be in the national team Good . Seems that USA is looking to redeem itself in international basketball scene Big Grin .

At least the Lakers are still in the playoff hunt. This will be, I think, year 14 of the "drought".
