^ Both shots by Ginobilli and Neal were sorta off-balance... Prayers.

And both got answered. Shocked

^^ Mild upset by the Hawks winning, Mr Green Orlando had swept them the previous 2 years, looking at the box score what an ugly game, 2 unoffensive teams showed why they are that way. bleh

Lakers eliminate New Orleans, 98-90. A solid all around game for the Lakers, who are now 11-1 over the last 4 playoff seasons in series-clinching games.

Like in the previous game, the Lakers' bigs took care of the boards for a 43-30 advantage. Victory! Peace!

What was disconcerting (as always) was that the second unit played poorly (as usual) and Phil had to send the starters in to secure the win. Shake Head

Hawks eliminate the Magic, 84-81.

There's going to be some drama in the Magic camp this off season...

I don't think the second unit played that poorly. The Lakers were up by 12 to begin the 4th when they were sent in and managed to increase the lead up to 20. The lead went down only when they took Bynum out of the game.

Well, they weren't doing something right, 'cause Phil yanked them all out of the game... Sweat

Not as much suspense in the opening round as the NHL had Shake Head where 4 series went 7 games and 2 of them were decided in OT, last chance for a 7th game is tonight when the Spurs travel to Memphis trying to save their season after game 5's miracle comeback. Sweat

Grizzlies eliminate the Spurs, 99-91... Guess that stunning defeat a couple of days ago didn't affect the Grizzlies at all.

^^ No, didn't affect them at all, figured the Spurs experience would have taken advantage of it but they didn't, Shake Head even though they won 2 games seems as though the Grizzlies outplayed them in every game. Duncan didn't have a good series, Randolph really put it to him, Duncan's 35 now, wonder how many years he has left or the core of the team for that matter too? Beaten

Randolph was an ex-Clipper... I guess it took getting out from Donald Sterling's clutches really helped his game. Beaten

Didn't know that, surprised he did so well then unless he got an exorcist to rid him of his losing spirits. Nut

The Heat beats the Celtics, 99-90... But the score wasn't even that close.

^^ Yeah, Wade had his way in this one, not a good matchup for Allen guarding him, Shake Head Pierce guarding James is a bad matchup for the Celts too.

The Bulls lost against the Hawks, 103-95. Joe Johnson showed tonight that he is worth the max salary.

On the other hand, will the "curse" of the Coach of the Year award will haunt Thibs and the Bulls? hehe
