Tonight the Clippers go for their 17th win in a row!!
To put that in perspective, since moving to Los Angeles in 1984, not counting the 98-99 strike shortened season, they've had two season were they didn't win 17 games all year! (1986-87 - 12-70, 1999-00, 15-67) and 3 other seasons ( 87-88, 94-95, and 97-98) where they won 17 games for the entire season.

And they got it defeating the Jazz 107-96 becoming just the third team in NBA history after the 95-96 Spurs and 71-72 Lakers to go a full calendar month undefeated.
Despite this recent setback for the clips, I still think they are the superior team this year.
I rather have Lakers be the top team, but let's face it, it will take a miracle to turn around this pathetic season they are having.
They do have amazing talent with Nash and Howard added this season,
But fact is, they need more athleticism, and superior outside shooting, better bench, and mostly a more solid defensive backcourt. Until they achieve any of those,
They are going lottery bound with a failed season.
D'antoni doesn't fit into the Laker's current system, not with lineup.
