sweet...man i was going to send you some GooTa i have some at home but you said it would get opened by Canadian Customs.
Even a friend of mine had to throw away a few oranges he had while crossing the border from Canada to the U.S.. The funny part is, they came from Florida.
I haven't been to the Japanese grocery store yet. Maybe they have some, but I doubt it. _________________

I'm still staring at that last pic. Looks soooooo juicy.
yakitori-don (grilled chicken over rice)...dusted with shichimi togarashi (japanese seven spice)...provides some nice heat to the glistening chicken that makes me want to stick my head in the monitor to take a bite!
A commonly used Japanese 7-spice blend that typically includes red chile pepper, roasted orange peel, yellow and black sesame seeds, Japanese pepper, seaweed, and ginger.

Let me at it!
food there is pretty good....
a few years ago when they opened their very FIRST branch in Los Angeles....they had a happy hour that allowed you to eat ANYTHING on the menu for 50% off as long as you ordered it during the happy hour time frame with no limitations on the number of times you could order...and the beer was also 99 cents a mug for Kirin or Asahi)....it was nuts....i went to town on that grub....but now it's so popular their happy hour specials are much less extravagant.....just one food item is half off during happy hour.

That's cheap and yummy.
I don't know if you've seen kekkon dekinai otoko, but in the 1st minute, Abe Hiroshi cooks and eat a juicy steak, like the one you posted with Satomi. He keeps eating yakiniku, juicy steaks and okonomiyaki. It looked so delicious. _________________

No problem.
yeah gyu-kaku is awesome..they have so many different types of food on the menu and they use binochotan charcoal....which is a very hard type of japanese charcoal...that burns hotter and emits very little smoke so you aren't all stinky afterwards...
beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp, fish, veggies, sides...well you saw the website.....it's yums...
a place like that in a big city in canada would probably blow up right? i mean because you don't have very many yakiniku restaurants i imagine...it would probably be an instant hit.
