Hey guys, remember when we were talking about chocolate about a couple weeks ago and TaintedWisdom offered to send some chocolate? Well, I got some goodies in the mail today:
These Chocolaseine chocolate chip cookies were divine! I liked the subtle chocolate flavor and it's so delicious that I had no idea that they were low in sugar! Unfortunately, the cookies were a bit fragile, so it got roughed up in transit. I don't really care though because it's the taste that matters to me.
These are the Koeda dark chocolate. I tried the milk chocolate sticks long ago, but I really liked the dark chocolate in this one.
Thank you very much, TaintedWisdom! *goes off in corner to munch on more cookies* _________________

Ouchies, They must have really put some heavy box on top of it cause I swore I wrapped that package pretty nice. Then again, my cousin works for UPS so I know how well they treat packages (rofl hahaha )
But yeah they tend to be quite fragile and break easy, but ahhh, taste so good! Lets wait for that koeda to freeze up (summer doesn't forgive chocolates lol).
Glad you liked them _________________

Aside from the taste, the sheer variety of Japanese chocolates is what I find most amazing. It's a dizzing array.
Sizzling Kobe Beef Toban yaki served with mushroom medley
I know we all like to post that we're drooling when we look at these pics, but I'm SERIOUSLY really drooling for this one. Which is surprising, because I'm not a huge fan of beef... _________________

I'm willing to try everything, but I could managed with Nobu tacos (cause it's special) and O-toro tartare. Perhaps the kobe beef and Yellowtail Sashimi for dessert.

Sounds good to me. I hope I'll be able to find them locally. I never checked what kind of cookies or snacks they're selling, but if you can't find them in Hawaii, I'm screwed. I'll have to eat pizza pretz dipped in chocolate. _________________

Yeah I basically had the same dish at Nobu Matsuhisa's restaurant here in L.A....the beef melts in your mouth and the tender, earthy mushrooms are a great accompaniment to the beef....the reduced sauce is intensely flavorful as it is served on a sizzling cast iron plate.

I agree I wish I could partake in all those dishes as well. Those tacos are probably among the most expensive tacos offered on the planet
