Don't quote me on this it's in the 10 to 12 dollar range...not cheap.

I dunno people have such strong opinions about things like burgers...I found it to be tasty but I haven't been back...probably because burgers don't come to mind when I want to dine outside at a restaurant that has staff that takes your order off a menu. The notion of burger to me, for the most part, is fast food.

Having said that there is supposed to be a really good "gourmet" burger that I've been wanting to try for ages at a place called Father's Office. Locations in Culver City and Santa Monica.

Yeah, I pretty much have the same opinion: a burger by any other name is still a burger.

Dude, this is funny. I had lunch with a friend that I hadn't seen in a long while and the subject of Umami Burger came up and she spoke of how she loves it. She mentioned that they have these baked tater tots on the menu that are stuffed with cheese....sounds good.

We discussed the deliciousness of Umami as I grubbed on my rotisserie chicken breast without skin, one wing, and garden salad sans dressing. hehe

But tomorrow a buddy & I are hitting Kagaya Shabu Shabu. w00t!

HAHA.

Garland chrysanthemum leaf (shungiku), shredded green onions (negi), potato starch cellophane noodles (harusame), shiitake mushroom, tofu, and napa cabbage (hakusai).

When you dip the veg in their ponzu....mmm, mmm, good!

Yeah well since going back to the gym I've been eating really healthy every day, I allow myself one or two free meals a week to cut loose a bit. It's a nice break from eating really lean chicken, tuna, or shirmp every dayem day.

yeah, a nice reward every now and then, especially after all the good foods you eat and work outs.

Speaking of burgers, a simple fast-food place that makes great burgers is InnNout, gosh i had a burger last week, they must have some of the best around. Mos Burger wasn't too bad either while in Japan.

Menya Musashi ramen in Shinjuku. Went there with friends after lunch time to avoid the long queue.
