To say the winning number of wings represents a staggering amount of food is an obvious understatement.

I don't think Joey Chestnut is a lightweight.

That said, some of these contestants must have the metabolic rate of a hummingbird.

Perhaps they only eat when competing. Victory! Peace!

Kobayashi Downs Record, Eats 337 Chicken Wings At Philadelphia Wing Bowl

PHILADELPHIA -- Competitive-eating champ Takeru Kobayashi (tah-kah-roo koh-bee-yah-shee) conquered Philadelphia's annual gustatory gorge-fest by eating 337 chicken wings in a half-hour before a crowd of nearly 20,000 at Wing Bowl XX.

The Japanese phenom demolished the record of 255 set last year by Jonathan "Super" Squibb.

The Friday morning extravaganza drew thousands to the Wells Fargo Center before sunrise to watch competitors stuff themselves with chicken wings.

Kobayashi claimed a $20,000 cash prize for his victory. It was the six-time Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest champ's first time competing at Wing Bowl, though he consumed a cheesesteak in 24 seconds as part of an eating exhibition last year.

Squibb had been trying to win his fourth consecutive Wing Bowl crown, but the Berlin, N.J., man finished a distant second with 271 wings.
if i would have done that... Dead

Yeah, I thought so. Cute little kids chompin' away at their laboriously prepared bento boxes.

I'll tell you this though. I'd rather eat one, than make one. Beaten

The food looks delicious!! So sorry to hear the service was so poor. Did someone even apologize? Did people around you come later but served before you?

That was great!! The teacher's bentos were works of art! Applaud Applaud Thank you to you, Tu_triky and EstherM. The teacher said people's faces took a while to create... just 2 hours and they looked just like the person!!!. When I was little my mom (once in a while) put in a musubi in my lunch and I just wanted to hide and eat it.

Haha. That's funny. Credit To EstherM for the video though. I'm just passing it along.

Yeah the teacher's bentos were ridiculously amazing. You could give me all the seaweed in the Pacific Ocean and I still couldn't turn out one of those portrait bentos.
