Earlier this week I was down in the South Bay for a doctor's appointment and ended up having lunch at King Shabu for the first time. Nice clean, modern decor with some delicious fresh ingredients.
I had the prime ribeye shabu, regular portion for $20. A reasonable price for prime grade meat I thought. They also have other grades of meat (and other ingredients as well) for slightly less or more depending on how much you want to treat yourself. One of the better shabu shabu places I've been to in LA.

Never heard of that place... Looks pretty good, though.
Indeed. Looks delicious.
Took awhile to post but here is our traditional Norwegian christmas eve dinner.
With Juleribba(pork belly ribs skin still on) Meidisterpølse(similar to bratwurst) and ertestuing (pea stew or paste) and of course the inevitable boiled potatoes.
It was delicious. Dessert was international though.
