There's another restaurant in Torrance called Musha that's supposed to be very good as well...

I need a date to help me check out these places. Puppy Dog Eyes

yeah it's another izakaya..they have one in santa monica too....i've been wanting to check it out....it has had rave reviews....

it's almost always more fun going with a girl but i would go to these places with some of my boys too..and have..don't let that hold you back...especially these izakayas (unlike yuzu) are really laid back and you don't have get dressed up or anything.

MUSHA: green bean salad with bacon drizzled with peanut dressing

another leading culprit perhaps Smile
it's gotten fabulous reviews though..and it's been around for a while so....

edit: all kidding aside that was the real deal, methinks. it was an amateur shot from somebody's food blog...not a press foto.

SORRY! i kill myself though...it's masochistic.

from what i read ppl seem to like the atmosphere of the torrance musha better than the Santa Monica one.

i have been living off sushi for the past week for dinner. tuna, salmon, shrimp. m-w-f and whenever i want to. i was actually snacking on nori strips the other day. just opening pack after pack after pack.. (1 pack = 4 strips)

the only variant that i had was the Chevy's Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas..

Edit: I wanna do shabu-shabu...

I wish I could give you something better, but the local food isn't very good. Too much fat and not so flavorful. Puppy Dog Eyes
