Hey bmw,

Here is a recipe a friend of mine gave me that can work well with any kind of fish fillets. She said it is delicious with cat fish.

!. Melt a generous hunk of butter (or Smart Balance) and a good dose of lemon juice in a moderate sized skillet. The melted mixture should cover the bottom of the pan.

2. Chop half a large onion, one nice fresh tomato (or a can of diced tomatoes), and a couple of green or red peppers and put in skilet to brown. Don't be afraid to add more of your favorite vegetable, butter or lemon to this mixture.

3. Pre season the fillets with either lemon pepper or Old Bay seasoning. After the veggies have browned (not to long), it's time to add the fillets to the pan.

4. Cover the pan for best flavor of fish and sauce. The fillets should be turned once during the cooking process and may be broken up into smaller chunks to absorb even more of the juices. Don't overcook! Use a fork to check if the fish is done. Once it's opaque, its' done.

5. Serve with a generous topping of the vegetables and sauce and enjoy! ( You can easliy enlarge or reduce this recipe for your needs.) Could be served over rice.

I don't mind fish. As long as it's coated with a proper batter, deep fried, and covered with enough tartar sauce to hide the taste.

on man....nasty....stick to double cheeseburgers, geezer...they sound healthier than what you just described.... Beaten

This was back in college. I was eating fish and putting a little tartar on each bite. By the time I was done eating, I had finished half a bottle....and my heart was skipping a beat.
