yeah, it wasn't spectacular or anything close, but only real alternatives were McD or Taco Bell... the rest of the places looked dodgy or real spensive.

I guess I should watch what I eat and what I buy too. I thought I was buying Japanese rice: a white bag, red dot, kanji with a Japanese name (kokuho) from Koda farms. The thing is, Koda farms is located in California. hehe

Also bougth miso-damari aka tamari for about 1$ a teaspoon. bleh

i figure if you buy it from mitsuwa or another j-mkt, and it has japanese kanji written all over it, and you can't understand it, or even if you do, it must be from Japan. hehe

That's what I thought too. I should spend more time reading the labels before buying. At least it tastes great. Smile

most definitely...good quality, and a premium of a price..when it is from Japan, but sometimes it is so worth it.

i like how they package and give good presentation, besides having good quality food, despite the prices.

went to Ajisen Ramen today for lunch Mr Green

service wasn't bad but you should hear those cantonese waiters/waitresses yell out 'sumimasen' and 'arigatou' every once in a while - they sorta vary their pronounciations every time they say it, lol rofl rofl

the food was oishii! hehe i had the spicy BBQ pork ramen and it was pretty spicy for me but definitely worth it - $6.75 Cdn for a bowl
