nice!
i'm looking forward to another izakaya
might be good....there aren't too many izakayas in little tokyo...there's two yakitori joints....there's one izakaya called "haru ulala" (on 2nd and Central) which is pretty good and opens hella late which is a big plus...but this will be a welcome addition...same ppl that own daikokuya i believe.
in any event little tokyo is about to blow up...they have like 4 or 5 residential complexes going up there (one condo building is already done and 2 other apt. buildings are near completion)...and they're all within 5-7 minutes walking distance of one another....the businesses there are set to make some serious future profits.

wow, there's many korean establishments that serve sushi in los angeles...but i will admit, with respect, they aren't as good as the establishments that are japanese owned with japanese sushi chefs behind the counter. kinda makes sense i guess...i won't be going to any chinese owned taco stands any time soon.
Yeah...
There's this add on TV, a steakhouse with a sushi bar... Is it crazier than the 3 day old fresh sushi at the grocery store or their frozen one!?! _________________

well if Daikokuya is any indication, Ebisu should be worth a visit...since it's owned by the same heads.
the ebisu in FV is not bad....but in comparison, i like Daikokuya's noodles better, but sounds like the Ebisu in LA is going to be really good and worth checking out.

who knows...like i said the haru ulala izakaya is pretty darn good and the fact that it opens really late on fridays and saturdays is a nice plus.
