What a fun topic@ But I'll end up picking my favorite actors/actresses anyway.
1. Kanda Eiji - Takizawa Hideaki's character from "Antique". He's too cute when he eats cake!
2. Onizuka Eikichi - Sorimachi Takeshi's character from "GTO". Who wouldn't have wanted a teacher like him?
3. Shinoda Jun - Oguri Shun's character from "Summer Snow". Sigh. He was so sweet.
4. Sawada Shin/Momo - Matsumoto Jun's characters from "Gokusen" and "Kimi wa Petto". It's so hard to choose between them, they were such different characters.
5. Kimura Takuya's characters. I really loved them all.
On Edit, I realized that I didn't add any females into my list!
I like Koyuki's character from "Kimi wa Petto" and Nakama Yukie's character from "Gokusen". Ryoko Hirosue is a great actress in everything. ^_^ _________________

I give Tokyo Love Story, Long Vocation, and Perfect Woman the highest scroe among all the J-dramas. GTO, Gokusen, Kindaichi, Beautiful Life, Blue Bird, Good Luck, Hitotsu yane no shita, and 101 kaime no puropozu are all my favorite. You know, i am kinda of old... so I guess not much ppl watched all of those 3: Blue Bird, Hitotsu Yane no Shita, and 101 Kaime no Puropozu, but they all really good.

I dunno why Uchi came in first.. call it a I needed an idiot in the lot.. he's the first tht popped in my mind! ^^ It's kind of a tie between him and Master really.
Yuji because he's the one bastard I truly hated (and I like Nari!!)
Chikage... well.. Abe Hiroshi just gives a lot of 'cool' to this character.. so it stuck in my mind. Even if I don't think the drama was worth that much.. ^^;
Sae.. hmm... I think my choice is half-hearted due to the fact of the brilliant acting on this one. But her character still sticks in my mind..
Saku.. an interesting character really... I think it,s because I, like many others, could relate to his pain in some way or another..

Well my list will probably constantly change as I watch new dramas, but here are some that I can think of...
In no particular order...
1. Sawada Shin (Matsumoto Jun in Gokusen) he is just so awesome
2. Kamiya Yuji (Narimiya Hiroki in Koukou Kyoushi 2k3) Possibly the most frightening and demented performance I've watched. I'm scurrred of this guy
3. Onizuka Eikichi (Takashi Sorimachi in GTO) Enough reasons listed above
4. Shiina Kaoru (Kato Takako in Women of the Onsen) Just an amazing show of character throughout all of the Onsen series. I loved her.
5. Amemiya Mayuko (Tomosaka Rie in From the Heart) Great performance that was completely different from anything I had seen.
