I couldn't make it past the first episode of iryu. Japanese medical dramas are utter rubbish and iryu was no exception. What claptrap.

Bah. I hate Tamura Masakazu. He sucked hard in Oyaji/Otousan and I think the only other thing I saw him in was a version of the Lone Wolf and Cub movie, and he was the least convincing hardass samurai ever.

I find him completely annoying. But that's just a thing I have about the dude.

I tried watching Tsumabuki Satoshi's Dr. Blackjack ni Yoroshiku, but that was horrid too. There was a funny little scene in Stand up that riffed on Blackjack.

The problem with medical dramas is that they seem completely unrealistic. If it's not somewhat believable, I can't enjoy it.

aw i think he's funny....s'all good...different strokes for different folks....
hmm....what's wrong with medical doramas...where ppl have heart attacks every 3.2 seconds from eating too many gyoza...it's hyper realistic.

Sadly no. This was before I discovered the powers of the VHS. Puppy Dog Eyes I'm sure it's floating out there being aired on KTSF and all, but alas I am not an owner.

What are these shows? No one has even voted for them- well NOT that much. Agh...the only recognizable one is Kurosagi, and what's this medical dorama? I appreciate and honour the JDorama awards much more than all these other ones. Shake Head

Oh Yeah, I know it's a medical dorama, but I was just saying that no one has even voted for it. However, it's still early in the year, and when someone uploads it, we'll be able to see it. But for the moment... Bang Head
