Awards for Japanese Dramas

wow cool awards :D

hey do you happened to know what are the current viewership for the dramas airing in Japan right now

Thanks yanie_chan for taking the time to type out that list!!

Somehow, I was lucky to find the link through a very useful chinese dorama database.
Strangely, they have only updated the results till the 39th season.

Here's the direct link - http://www.television.co.jp/drama/drama_academy/index.html

The Television Dorama Academy Awards Winter 2003

BEST ACTRESS:
1. Nanako Matsushima (Bijo Ka Yajuu)
2. Takako Matsu (Itsumo Futari de - FujiTV)

good call!
IMO, it's a very close call. i can't decide between these 2 if given the choice.

As I recall, the juries vote for this year's Winter Dorama Awards are:

BEST DORAMA

by the Juries:

1. Shiroi Kyoto
2. Boku to Kanojo no Ikiru Michi
3. Suna no Utsuwa

These 3 doramas must have REAL quality works, ne...

But now, being a leading actor in a dark drama, Suna no Utsuwa...has proven his acting skill, ne! I hope now Nakai-kun realize that he's a talented actor ;) But i think, it'll only work with dark roles x) hehe....Nakai suits dark characters, perfectly!

You know why? Because Nakai-kun is so funny & silly in reality that when he's cast in darker roles, he just shines it through! He's really a good actor. The feeling is the same as watching KimuTaku in One Million Stars...You'll just get shocked watching him in there.

I like that drama too :)

Just as I thought...Those three guys, Karasawa, Nakai and Kusanagi will be on the Top three. Woo hoo!!

great translation. Though this thread should be changed to Awards for Dramas and made into Sticky if thats alright with the mods.

Are you guys going to use this for ALL types of awards given to Japanese dramas? If so, I could make it a sticky, and also rename the topic to something more general (ex: Awards for Japanese Dramas). However, if it's just for a particular awards show, we should just leave it as-is. Let me know!
