i remember someone said that the lead was Yamada Takayuki. maybe the just wanted to give an award to Taiyou no Uta, i mean, if i were the judges, i wouldn't give some lame fruityboy an award.
i have a different question. why is she up here winning something???
i just somehow like the movie much much better _________________

Yup. It's because she had better chances of winning as a supporting actress than lead. Call it marketing. _________________

Was confused about that too. But when you watch it, you'd feel that Chiaki had more character development than Nodame. They should've renamed it to Chiaki Cantabile! Haha!

I think Wynter was referring to Sawajiri Erika/Taiyou no Uta, not Nodame Cantabile.

Like I told Wynter-chan, it's not always who has the most screen time, but who is the most significant: without Nodame presence, Chiaki NEVER would've grown.
That's why she's the key/focus to the drama, not Chiaki.

Yup! I didn't mention Nodame at all... Erika was a main character in Taiyou no Uta, so I don't understand who she got the supporting role. That's all I had said... _________________

44th Galaxy Awards announced
The non-profit Japan Council for Better Radio and Television has announced the winners of its 44th Galaxy Awards, which covers the broadcast period of April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2007.
In the television category, the Grand Prix was awarded to NHK's special program, "Working Poor ~Hataraitemo Hataraitemo Yutaka ni Narenai" (broadcast on July 23, 2006). The Special Award was given to the production team of Fuji TV's "Dr. Coto's Clinic" drama series, and the Individual Award went to actress Ryoko Shinohara for multiple roles.
In the other spectrum, MBS Radio's "Tokushuu 1179" took the Grand Prix for its February 17 broadcast. Announcer Hiroshi Kume received the DJ Personality Award.
A Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks ad received the CM Grand Prix, and Kagoshima Yomiuri Television earned the News Grand Prix for its coverage of the Shibushi incident.
Additionally, this year saw the first My Best TV Award, which was determined by viewer votes. NHK's short series "Hagetaka" won the prize.
