One common fetish for Japanese guys is to look as pretty and as kawaii as the girls. Not only eyebrow-plucking.. they wear make-up and do their nails, do facial treatments and all those girl things. Some of them even dare to strut around in girls' clothes Rolling eyes

I was kidding!!!!!!!!! I do shave my beard. You know some women in america actually shave their eyebrow(tammy faye baker) and then tatooed an eyebrow in its place. Now that is weird.

I don't think this sort of behavior is particularly unique to japan.

Also, there were some young toughs in high school that shaved their eye brows and had their nails done and light make up and such. The only curious thing about it is that when I first got into the school, all of the people that were doing this were part of a teen sect called "rebels". Guys, often gang members, that wore dingy jeans and t-shirts and had a sort of grungy look. It was an unexpected change~

why not??
i'm a girl and i do pluck my brows...Mr Green of cos' i still have brows...
the purpose of plucking my brows is to give it a nicer shape and definition and to make it neater, not to remove all of it!! my brows are way too untidy if i don't pluck them.... Shake Head

What's wrong with plucking? I mean you pluck so they give a good shape, but make it shape like girl's is wrong though for guys.

Well yeah it hurts at first, but the 3rd, and so on times, it's ok.
Light make-up, nails, facial treatment for guys are now are commons.
Eventhough I am having prob with nails, I don't feel want to let those stylist do my nails like girls, I prefer them this way.

Try to go to backstage of any shows and you will see what I mean Smile

Yeah..why not? I'm a girl and I'm doing it too, I don't want to have unibrows (you know one eye brow to the other joining line)..it's kinda freaky to me. As for guys plucking eye brow? hmm, It depends. Junichi Okada plucks his eyebrows, but he's quite O.K, you know..not weird looking.

ah, sorry. Let me rephrase what I said, as its always what comes to mind whenever I think of plucking eyebrows.

This is what I wanted to say:

"Girls should do it(remove all of their eyebrows and draw in new ones) either".

On the other hand, evening things out and making them look neater is just good grooming.
