Here in Finland we definitely will. It's so cold in here that all you can do is to get drunk and try to forget how freezing it is. Or you could go home and watch some japanese dramas, but why would anyone want do that when you can freeze to death with your friends, or wander alone in downtown and hit your head on slippery ice. That�s how we spend New Year in Finland. But for some reason we are yet having fun. Crazy

I drank too much last night. Got a little punchy. Not good. Caused me to get into an argument with my wife 'cause I was gonna lick some dumb f*** who was checking her out right in front of my face. sigh What a way to start off the New Years. Hopefully this isn't a sign of how it's gonna be this year..... _________________

a hauoli makahiki hou (hawaiian for 'happy new year's') to everyone here at jdorama! best wishes for a great '05. there were a lot of firework popping here where i was in pearl city (groink's hometown), and a lot of smoke, but this ny's was still a lot more tame than previous ny's.

Hey, I was also in Vegas celebrating New Years with my wife. Probably passed you on the Strip at some point...

one of my friends was in vegas for the holidays, but left just before new year's eve. he said that the hotel rates become very expensive, and it's just way too crowded!

I don't know. Somehow my wife found a great rate at the hotel. And flying with Southwest was cheap also. I guess booking it in August didn't hurt either. And about the crowds, yes it was crowded, but not as much as I expected. Since the Strip stretches for a few blocks, the people were spread out.
