Another one is when you say "I remember when that only cost..."

you know your old when ......
you no longer have to shave your pubic hair because it all falls out on its own,
and when you shower it clogs the drain,
and sometimes you find locks of hair in your underwear
and you are too old to realize where it came from and you say
"hey.... what the...now how'd that get in there?"

Dude, short sleeve polyester shirts have been back since the dot.com era! I'm not kidding.

I guess I'd better start packing. Sweat

I know I'm old now. But my hair turned gray when I was 13. And it was full on white before my 21st birthday.

The sad part? Nobody ever asks me if I bleach it anymore.

Better gray than bald, though.

Man, I've got to start keeping a list.

So far, according to you, my sisters, my doctor, my nieces and nephews, my clients, and my grocer, the cigs are responsible for:

My white hair,

My bad back,

My near sightedness,

My tennis elbow,

My bad knees,

The arthritis in my hand,

My snarky sense of humor,

and my gereral all'round laziness.

Man, and all I thought I was risking was a little lung cancer and bad breath!

Cigarettes are scary!

Heh.

You know what's really scary? The Phillip Morris propaganda, er, commercials that says that there are no safe cigarettes, that they subsidize the "we card" program, yada yada yada...

Hypocrisy in action.

Yup.

It's about as genuine as the PG&E adds that talked about how much they gave back to the environment, and their customers...

as they raped and pillaged the economy and the landscape.

But the big lie works. Just tell it often enough.

Yup. Christmas Eve.

You know you're young when all you care about is:

will I get; the Cub Scout Uniform I need, or the Bike I want, or the high tops like Mikey DoCampo's.

You know you're too old when all you care about is:

Did I get enough food, will the kids eat the steaks, or should I make a vat of mac and cheese for them just in case, is there enough wine, does the cheese cake look right?, and will I have enough time tomorrow morning to give the big bathroom a good cleaning, or should I do it tonight before going to bed?

Mostly I like getting older. But these days, my birthday and the holidays just wear me out.
