I will give it a fair chance. Maybe i'll like it if i watch more than one ep. When i was a kid i saw many chinese series that was dubbed in my language. The best one that i remember would be the 1980's Legend of the Conder Hero. There are so many others great series back then and am sure they still have great serie now. Nowaday there are so many remake of the same series.

Hey just wondering what the next big teen taiwanese drama will be. I liked watching meteor garden and MVP despite their crappy acting and want to see some more dramas like those.

there have been lots and lots of taiwanese dramas out after meteor garden actually.. but as the fever has died down a bit.. the latest one that i have heard of would be a new one.. can't remember the name actually.. it's more of a rich-man show.. where everyone would be with big beautiful cars and everything.. it stars chen yi rong of lavender fame..

there's one new one which i think would be one of the more memorable one of late is s.h.e's "the rose"... adapted from a japanese comic "bara no tame ni" by yoshimura akemi... it tells the story of how a girl deemed as fat and stupid by others win the heart of her dream guy with her own determination and good points.

Hi, does anyone know or seen [JEM] Lavender. Is the subs from the tv and do you know where its taken from? Which tv channel or country? How are the subs? Also how come there is a episode 14 out? I thought there was only 13. Anyone know? Oh JEM said there is 15 so nevermind

The subs are made by the Singaporean TV station that shows it and they are good;way better than VCD subs.....Lavender orginally has 10 episodes but this TV station cut it into more episdes I guess for time restraints....I don't know how much exactly but if JEM says there's 15, that's great! I've been wanting to watch it but I'm waiting 'til I get all the episodes so I can watch it in one go.

Yea I have no idea whats goin on with Lavender episodes but the tv channel says 13? But now theres 15 so I dunno. But JEM says there is 15 so I guess thats that, I dunno how it worked out but JEM knows what hes doin hehe

And I thought this was going to be the usual 28/29 episodes.

I've been editing the converted mpg so I can fit 80 minutes on one CD, I'm cheap....

Lavender

Cast: Ambrose Hsu, Chen Yirong, Lin Weijun

Elementary school student Liang Yixun (Chen Yirong) suffers from a congenital heart disease. With a weak health, she is often bullied and teased in class.



Her only friend in class is a boy named Ji Jingchuan (Ambrose Hsu). They become fast and close playmates. Unfortunately, Jingchuan, has to migrate to the States with his family. Before leaving, he gives Yishun a bottle with a piece of Lavender grass as a keepsake. They both vow to meet up at their primary school on Yixun's 20th birthday.



Years passed and Yixun has blossomed into a pretty 20-year-old lady and now works in a garden. One day, she sees a handsome young star named Leo on TV who hails from the States.

i had a hard time finishing lavender too.. couldn't stand the lead.. but chen yirong acted a sick sick girl really well..

who in here dl this series? any malaysian??

sometimes the story drags out and really takes away from the drama though...
