Hey, I went to Japan for 2 weeks with only $1,000.00USD (spending money). Hey, it lasted me (barely). You can do it too. Go for 4 days. Good enough. $500.00USD spending money should cover it. (After all expenses paid). _________________

The cheapest fligh ticket costs 650euros = 800$. I think it will be the same price for Eke.

Yeah, that is too ambitious. No one picks up heelside and toeside turns in only one day of lessons.
As long as they have fun and don't injure themselves and make good progress on their technique, that's what counts. With each successive snowboarding trip, they can build their technique. If you push them too hard on the first day, they'll get frustrated or injured and won't like snowboarding.
Of course, it helps if you get a cute instructor! My friend had a really cute Asian woman as his snowboarding instructor at NorthStar 3.5 weeks ago! He kept falling on purpose to get her to help him stand back up again!

Well when i teach someone i really don't say them do that and do this... i just tell them the basics and let them practise at their own pace. Anyway two of my friends have already learned all of this in under two days...

I quess i don't quite count to that category... There will be one quite good looking girl on the trip anyway... too bad she can already ski

Hmm... Is there any place in asia where you can ski? That would solve all our problems.
That's the only way the get me skiing. Here in Finland no pretty girl's gonna help you when you fall. No, insted you drown in snow (it's possibe here), all alone.

You can go skiing to Japan. ah... you're going there at summer. too bad for you... (exept you can go to Ayas consert )
And yes... Pretty finnish girls do help you up. I have experience of that. Not as much as helping pretty finnish girls up though

Yes, I'm going there at summer, that's when girls are wearing bikinis.

That's cheating. And you know better places than I do. There's only sweaty old men where I ski. And I have to help them up...

You don't have to be... My trip got cancelled this morning as the guy who was arranging it broke his tailbone.

Dude, get your passport ready and fly out to California to hit Lake Tahoe! Still plenty of snow.
During the weeknights at Lake Tahoe, if you stay in the city of South Lake Tahoe, you can get a cheap hotel room for under US$40 a night on Sunday - Thursdays. I've even seen some respectable places for US$35 a night on weeknights.
A number of good resorts have discount lift tickets for during the week too, anywhere from $39 - $49 US.
I'm going boarding again this weekend, some friends got a cabin. Taking Friday off from work, my amigo Ray and I are boarding on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Darn! That could work... four days would be great! If I'd use all my money maybe i could afford cheap hotel and lift tickets for four days... i'd just have to figure out where i'd get money for plane ticket and food
And i don't even have passport... i only have id-card that i can only travel inside European union with. But passport isn't a problem. I quess i'll just wait and go to Japan.
