one of my favorite non-bars is the Abe Hiroshi's apartment in Dekichatta kekkon..where Abe Hiroshi played the Law Student and always got everyone together for a group meeting and showed people what happened by explaining it with flow charts on chalk board.

Speaking of bars/restaurants...it's always been true that in each and every drama there is always one place that the main characters congregate at...

...I like the yatai (stall) that Tokiwa and Kimura ate ramen at in Beautiful Life. Or better yet the small nomiya that the main characters would drink at in Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan starring Nishida Toshiyuki. The okami was pretty in her kimono. Victory! Peace!

I like the yatai too,,its a kinda place where u hotto suru w00t!

The only thing about those stalls...it must get really cold in the winter to sit outside like that! Unless you're getting drunk on sake and eating lots of oden.
