I can't really imagine Jin playing this part (although I'm just saying that b/c I'm a little bias when it comes to Ryotan )

Subaru always looks somewhat irritated, so I don't know what he'll look like when he REALLY pissed off, lol. "kowakawaii" lol, Only BakaJin can come up with that But I totallly agree!

have been browsing this thread for few days,decide to drop in to say HI..

hmmm...lemme see, me a SMAP fan(loves Shingo Katori) who was later charmed by Arashi (favs-Aiba & Sho). A good fren introduced me to Naniwa,love the song but never really pay attention to the boys until I dl their Excite concert...feel in love with Hina and recently Ohkura has charmed me with his sweet smile..

not sure if anyone has mention this (hav nt finish browsing the thread) but several SMAP fans whom I know has noticed that Subaru looks like Nakai Masahiro(Smap leader) ....

I think you may heard this song ,tenshi01, but you don't remember it because it's other version. In Spirits Concert , Yoko & Hina sang it together after kanjani8 sang Sukiyanen Osaka.
I ever see several old Shounen Club performances that they sang "Mermaid" but i didn't know about this song really, I think they shall put it on their album because it's a nice song.

And i think you didn't a bias because if you did , me too.

I knew that Hina is look like Kimura Takuya. First time when i see Hina in Naniwa Iroha Bushi, Hina with long hair, i think he really look like.

He does? I didn't actually thought so...or maybe because I never looked hard enough...But I remember in an ep of Shonen Club, Subaru was Mr X and they asked the audience who he looked like in SMAP and a girl asnwered Nakai...
I thought that Subaru looked like this actor called Yoshizawa Yuu at certain angle. But I know (and most of us agreed) that Hina looked like Kimura Takuya

thanks for the welcome...will try and posts often..i seem to have difficulties with this site at home, only in office able to log in..

the 1st time i saw K8 at the johnnys countdown concert,only remember Hina as the guy in Neverland,the rest totally nvr notice..I had a hard time trying to locate Ryo in that concert (my good fren likes him)..after Arashi i nvr thought I will like a younger grp..Okura is my younger bro's age LOL..

i agree,all the boys are unique and their behaviour especially during MCs remind me of SMAP..

in the latest Popolo,Subaru do look like Nakai at certain angel but Hina is really a mirror image of Kimura..

BTW, does anyone knows the track list of the songs they sings for both Excite & Spirits concert...I love the 2nd concert,bigger scale but if only Uchi is there, it will a perfect concert...

unkei - While I would be happy to give a brief list of the files I uploaded, I don't think my synopsys/summary would be of much help in the way you hope. My Japanese is horrible, as in it's what I picked up from anime, jdorama and JE in the past couple of years (mostly anime, at that).
So my summaries would be along the lines of "I might have no idea what they're saying, but this is what they're doing!" (For an example, look at this post.)

I don't know much about SMAP, but Nakai is one of the Utaban hosts, right? I can't say I noticed any similarities between them, but then again I haven't really been looking. XD

Seems to me a lot of K8 fans got to know them through Naniwa Iroha Bushi - myself included. But it's such a great song!

On another note... Has anyone watched Attention Please?
I'm wondering if the series is good enough to download. I'm already getting Kurosagi, and Shige's Busu no Hitomi... something, and I'm not sure if I'm going to start on a third series this season.
And while I kinda like Ryo, I'm not his biggest fan - so him being in the series is not enough reason for me to download it.
So, I was hoping any of you had seen it.

* EXCITE: All three backstage files and eight camera angles for Heavenly Psycho are up. (So far Suba, Hina and Ryo seem to be popular, while Yoko's hasn't even been downloaded once! *patpats*)
* honjani-20060207-144-Ultimate Frisbee (A), 236mb and honjani-20060214-145-Ultimate Frisbee (B), 269mb - I haven't really watched these two beyond a quick skipping through the episodes, so I can't tell you much. All seven are there, Subaru begins the first episode with a very charming *snicker* pink cap (which he later replaces with a white towel) and Yassu has his bangs tied up in a tail like Kame's Shuji used to do in Nobuta wo Produce.
* honjani-20060404-152-Donburi World Cup, 300mb - Donburi is a bowl of rice with food on top, and three chefs compete to make the most delicious meal from their country of choice: Italy, China and Japan. Kanjani8 gets to watch how the dish is created, and then they judge the taste. (In other words, the idea for this episode is basically the same as the Nabe World Cup of February 21st, with a different meal.) I don't know about you, but watching these cooking episodes always makes me want to have some of that myself. Too bad I have no idea how to make three quarters of these dishes!
* honjani-20060411-153-Remote Control Car (2nd try), 212mb - They go back and play with radiographic controlled cars. It's the second time, so they learn a couple of tricks to make their cars go faster through the curves. Maru gets a balloon on his head which is broken by a flying car, while Yoko and Ryo get bowled over by another one.
They race, and the two with the fastest time get to race in the finale where they also compete with this episode's teacher... and get totally creamed. XD

Wow! Another SMAP fan who fell for K8. See, I've known quite a lot of other SMAP fans who like K8 because the younger boys kinda remind them of their senpai, especially when they talk. Me think that out of all Johnny's boys' MCs, SMAP definitely rank the best, but then, K8 really remind me of SMAP too in that way, the attitude & personality.

They say Attention Please is really nice. Haven't downloaded it yet coz I'm waiting for the eng subs, but I read over at prettyboys forum that SOME fans even prefer it over Kurosagi. So I don't really know, but they say that it's really funny even though Ryo appeared less in the 1st ep. Anyway, I'm downloading both, hehe...

I'm a SMAP fan, my ichiban is Kusanagi. Yup, I also find Kanjani quite resemble SMAP in younger days. They're funny, lively, and never ashamed to do some crazy role, like what SMAP do on EVERY skit in SMAP x SMAP (well....especially Nakai. He's one of the greatest japanese entertainer I think..)

I've already download the 1st episode of Attention Please. Eventhough I cannot understand fully, I can say that this dorama is quite interesting, eventhough I find the theme little bit common. and yes, Ryo's role in here is quite same with his previous role, I think it's not challenging enough for developing Ryo's acting capability. But what can I say, I;m no expert, and I'm only watched the 1st episode XP

Great news, Kioku Fansub will have Attention Please hardsubbed. They said that perhaps they will released in in jpopsuki tracker, same like 1 rittoru.

^^; I have to go back and watch the Spirits Con, it hard to remeber every song they sang (and me with my crappy memory ) It is nice song though, Uchi making that ~ah~ noise was hotsu, haha. I miss that sexy boy

I watched Attention Please, didn't understand much, but I thought it was funny. Ryo doesn't show up that much in the first episode though But it was very cute drama, Aya plays her character very well. It think it's one of those "do your best" type of dramas, somewhat cliched but the actors/actresses involved made it very enjoyable to watch.

@ reddevils : heya! welcome to the forum ^^ I don't know the members of SMAP that well (cept for Nakai) but I love their music, one of the first JE groups I listened to. I hope you enjoy it here ^^

I haven't watched Attention Please myself yet cos like some of you, I'm waiting for the subs. And I've always like Aya so, I'll probably liked it.

And I think it's like what tenshi01 said, it's a "do your best" type drama. Something like Gambatte Ikimasshoi. Well, that's what I thought based on the CM I've watched.
