I don't think it's a full season dorama. From what I know, they plan to release all three within this year, but no dates yet apparently. I think they're 2-hour drama specials.
I'm not sure if this is the order of the dramas airing, but they go like this:
1) Double (Complex) - starring Subaru as a pianist and Maru as his manager. Somebody once mentioned that Mari Hoshino is the lead actress in this but not too sure now. This is a suspense psychological thriller.
2) Dive to the Future - starring Hina & Yassu as high divers, but not sure what character Ryo plays in this. This is a sports drama.
3) Football Coach (temporary title) - starring Yu while Ohkura plays his childhood friend. This is an action drama with elements of love & friendship. If I'm not mistaken, Yu mentioned in Recomen last week that there's a love story in his drama, but I don't know who the actress is.
These series of dramas will be shown under "Kanjani8 Seishun Drama Series" on Kansai TV, but like I've mentioned before, there's no official dates yet. _________________

hmm.. didn't know suba was already an uncle too.
i haven't seen any of the other boys' drama's website, i've only ckecked yasu and maru's and it's about cycling. so it's not yasu and hina as divers, instead maru and yasu as cyclists. can't wait for news on the other boys' dramas! _________________

Actually, the title for Maru/Yassu dorama is "Jitensha Shounen Ki", and it's going to be aired on TV Aichi, completely different from the one they filmed for Kansai TV. So yeah, you can expect to see both Maru and Yassu in 2 doramas this autumn. _________________

So I feel left behind..
Seem that most of the Kanjani's got new drama project..
that's good can't wait for that..
Its a little bit annoying for asking this, I know that there is a specific color renjer for each of them..
Every time I tried to remember, its split up with each of them.. can anyone give me the right color for each of them..
so I will know who is he (especially when I read their diary translation at Binan no Nikki)
And one more thing.. can any one tell me what hapen to Uchi? Its October right now.. I heard that he will suspended until september..

Bout the whereabouts of Uchi ... i don't know His suspension's longer than expected ne. Now there's speculation that he'll be back when NEWS is formed again .. which is about May 2007. OMG!!

Well in this episode Yoko and Ohkura visits a hypnosis and the best part was when Yoko was hypnotised to fall in love with Ohkura . I think most of you'll saw this on Youtube already but this is the full episode. The second part of this show is when Subaru and Hina (i think) visit a team of cheerleading obachans ... very cute _________________

i think the picture is just for a photoshoot.. i've seen it before but haven't seen the whole spread.
i've seen that in youtube and OMG it was so funny! yoko, i think, is genuinely smitten with tacchon and tacchon on the other hand is quite grossed out. hahaha "kawaii na~ *heart heart*" LOL _________________

I REALLY REALLY want Uchi back for the winter concerts in December at least. Because I want Uchi to come back to eito first before resuming with NEWS. This may sound selfish on my part but if J&A decides to postpone Uchi's return so that he can come back with NEWS, once again, I'll feel that J&A think that NEWS is more important than eito.
And somehow, I feel that will spell trouble for eito in the future... _________________

@elventuna Winter con tickets? As far as i know the tickets are exclusive to fanclub members (You and J) but if there're leftovers, they'll have a public auction. Auction prices are HIGHH! Ticket prices to fan members are around 7000yen. Even between fanclub members there's no guarantee that you'lll get the tickets as tickets are bought via lottery. You apply and pay in advance. If you fail to get the tickets, there'll be a refund minus handling fees.
@ WD I don't wanna hope anymore. If he's back he's back if not i'll wait .... coz he WILL be back sooner or later right?????? I think JE has always put NEWS before Kanjani8, afterall K8 was never promoted as intensively as NEWS or K-T (sorry NEWS fans ... didn't mean to offend anyone) _________________

I know about K8 because Ryo and Uchi was in NewS.. so I want to about him..
I'm one of NewS fans.. but me also realize that K8 was not promoted intensively.. since they have work so hard...
this makes me feel that Mr. Kitagawa was playing with our emotions!
I hates him but he is superb in business..
