Thanks WD for all the updates and links! I am having soooo much fun with this new single! Listening to it makes me so happy. I listen to zukkoke otokomichi in my car as I drive to school and I am smiling and singing along and I swear pple look at me weird when we are stopped at a light. Lol!

It's so weird i still haven't receive my k8 single... I did the rush shipping, it's supose to come the day after it's release...

If it's ok, can you upload the Recomen show where yoko and hina interviewed Yamapi? I heard they called up Yamapi during his Kurosagi shoot, and im really wanna hear it!

WD-san, just curious, did you get all the selling data from oricon.co.jp? in which part? because I never able to find the accumulative selling of the single/album. In the daily chart, it only shows today's selling, and only for top three.
And also about weekly ranking, do they count it every weekend or they count it exactly 1 week after single/album being released?
I'm really curious about Zukkoke selling. Compared with Kanfuu, how's the selling of this single? Especially in the 1st week?

I found the accumulative yearly ranking from www.jpopmusic.com...However for the accumulative monthly and weekly:
In the daily chart, the top three numbers are not even the real numbers, those are only index numbers. They're using factors because only like 50% of stores registered with Oricon send their reports daily, while 50% more only send in theirs after Monday ends.
About the weekly ranking, because most singles are released on Wednesdays, they count it starting on that Wednesday all the way until Monday (and excluding Tuesday), which means 6 days. Tuesday's numbers will be counted in the following week.
Last year Oricon used a different system, so we only got to know KanfuFighting's sales at the end of the week. Now with Zukkoke Otokomichi, they're using estimation, which means daily index numbers are times with 1.75 (the common factor) they're using...
KanfuFighting sold about 264,000 in the first week, and bear in mind it comes with 7 limited editions. At this rating, I think Zukkoke can probably hit around 200,000...This song actually lacks exposure on music programs! Only 1 MS and 1 Hey3x so far...There's no Music Fighter or Utaban. Other JE artistes are appearing in a lot more _________________

ahh, and another quiestion pop in my head.
With Eito's condition right now, why they still be under Teichiku label? Eventhough it;s imperial records, it's still under "outsider" label. Because most of Johnny's especially the younger one, is under JOhnny's own recording laber. Why eito's still in Teichiku/Imperial??
And other thing, did Kanfuu and ZOM have 1st press edition r?
Because it seems that lot's of other johnny's release has 1st press edition. Kattun seems always has 1st press ed.

Well, until yesterday, it seems that ZOM has already sold about 160.000 copies. Well, let's hope for the best for Eito.
But it seems that next week will be a hard week to maintain the position ne... more johnny's next week?
Next week will be T&T, and then KinKi Kids and then Arashi...
I think KK's first week's sales will be over 200,000 copies as well, but not too sure if T&T or Arashi can do as well. T&T's newest single is being promoted like crazy though (like NEWS), and Arashi will have to look whetherit can repeat the HYD2 tie-in... _________________

Because they're based in Osaka. Remember that JE still doesn't have a proper JE office in Osaka, let alone recording labels. Actually Imperial Records is still under Teichiku, but it's not an enka label anymore. Imperial Records is already a pop label.
Btw, both V6 & T&T are under Avex and Avex is not a JE label. But a very powerful label though (thus explaining the crazy promos). _________________
