When you showed me your smile?

How we become close very well
How we exchange our thoughts
Where our secrets revealed?

Do you still remember
When we had misunderstandings
When we do not want to talk
When all the things were ruined?

Do you still remember
How you and I reconciled
When we trusted each other again
That somehow tested by time?

I, Me and Myself

I had gone through battle all my life
Struggling for my own reason and aim
Keeping in mind that I have to win
And never know what failure is

It's me who always fails
Whatever the reason I have
Still the luck never faced me
And my turn has gone out of order

It's only myself that keeps wondering
Why anyone have to succeed
Why anyone have to fail
Why the world I live is so cruel

Time could only decide a judge
To anyone who does know it
To anyone who doesn't know it
To any one who'll ask for it......

PAPER PLANE

I was folded into two
And folded again in half
Folded in its pattern
Until the final fold was done

I was thrown up in the sky
Where I gazed with the air
Where my eyes fell on the ground
Where the meadows could rely

I was conquered by the clouds
Embraced by the sun's ray
And blew up higher to it
Where I could touch the heaven

And now, I am landing freely
Towards where I first started
Waiting for the another flight
For the wave of my wings...

Some Things the Romans Did

Workers, soldiers, slaves,
all the trappings of royalty and agriculture.
Watching a documentary on ants
I question why you would take offense
at being called �gantlike,�h
such ingenuity and cool precision, willingness
to get along with your cohabitants
who, genetically and environmentally speaking,
are also you. What you lack
in diversity you make up in artistry, easy enough
when every move is a dance.
You attack in legions, colonize
whole continents. You are the dream
of the Republic realized
and suddenly gone.

Like Etruscan, your language is indecipherable.
I know this much: you herded cattle
made small by memory; your banquet-floor
mosaics depicted scraps and bones — no need
to clean up. Coins
under the tongues of the dead
paid for passage, so I have no choice
but to feed you the quarter
you saw coming. You, well-off,
engraved skeletons on chalices
as a reminder of mortality,
that the soul exists
and exits through the mouth.

RAIN

We are together in rain.
I hold you closer than usual,
flesh soaking together.
You decide I am your umbrella,
at least for a day.
I don't mind.
Your eyes turn green.
We laugh, breath warm as steak,
hands under each other's raincoat,
warmed by the fire we expect is there.
It isn't,
forgetting how to heat each other,
without opiates of disorder.
I am your Shelly.
You spell this Shirley.
I go rowing out on a lake,
heavy thoughts from the clouds
that become us.
Lightning cracks chords.
I try to make out your cheeks.
I still try to smile but cannot.
All I see is teeth.
Each one gets closer and lunges,
forceps to the full,
in bare stony rain.

In hearing conservation stop
Or finding out a loss of friends
The Feeling hallows out

the sky is dry,
as from wrinkeled slits,
a soul does cry,
my own is sober,
yet numb to touch,
a chain of crystal beads,
hang from the sill,
rob my skin of emotion
for just a while
it will return,
as the sun shall burn ,
if only it,
could only share this
influence,
with the rest of me.
