I am thinking that this dorama is a platform to showcase the new Johnny's boys as well as to maintain the Kimutaku's popularity. |
Hmm, I read that this show is not that well received saying that it focuses to much on the kids rather that the engine - racing part. It only got a ranking of 9 on the Oricon chart of the 'most satisfied dorama of Spring' BUT ranked 2nd on the 'most awaited dorama' cat. Anyway, i'm loving it.

Damn it, Arnel98!
Your signature file and avatar of Anzu Sayuri are melting down my monitor!
It's funny how doramas often have a theme for retitling their episodes. Like in Pride, they called each episode a "period" like in hockey. In Engine, they call them laps, akin to racing.

Anywya, does anyone know the name of the guy that plays the mechanic and calls Kimtaku "senpai"? I think he is quite cute.... |
I think that's Ishigaki Yuma. The guy that acted in Waterboys..

Was better - but I wasn't really paying attention - the plot is thickening (FINALLY!!)!!! . Saw the trailer for Lap 8, looks exciting.
Can't wait for the Chinese subs for Lap 7. Then I can fully understand what was going on.
