A meterosexual are dudes like Justin Timberlake and those dudes from 'Nsync and Backstreet Boys. Dudes with style. Not to mention those are the kind of dudes who care about pedicures and manicures and plucking eyebrows, etc. But are straightm however.

A wife beater are those tight white tank tops. The ones that are kind of like an "underwear quality tank top". Those tight white ones you see a lot of locals wearing. The ones that they tend to wear under their T-shirts.

JUSTIN IS A METRO SEXUAL??? Shake Head
i always thought he was just an undercover homosexual...sayings how i know many metro sexuals...as well as homosexuals...timberlake falls more near the straight up homo type...

There are a lot of 4th and 5th generation Japanese-Americans in Hawaii. Not uncommon at all. Heh, but it's Hawaii. Go figure.

Yeah I know, boss. In Japanese, isn't the word for Japanese-American, Nikeijin? Most Americans of Japanese descent still hail from Hawaii or the West Coast if I'm not mistaken...when I used to kick it on the East Coast I was hard pressed to find many Japanese (unless they were visiting from abroad or they were Ryugakusei)....most of the Asians where of Chinese or Korean descent. Especially in NY.

In any case I was thinking, aho didn't you mention you work or used to work for LV? I saw this video clip of this Japanese woman protecting her handbag...not to say it's an LV bag but it prolly is. Sweat

I saw this referenced over at D-addicts. Check it!

Ah I get it now.... thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know they called those white tank tops a wife beater. You learn something new everyday. hehe

Wife beater...I thought everyone knew that one! Hehe....That's a term that's been around forever....well, I guess we all learn from one another posting messages here...Let's call it a postive externality of watching dramas Thumbsup

Yup. Nikei is the correct term for Japanese-American.

not really. Nike-jin are people who wear too many 'swooshes' on their caps and shirts and shoes. hehe ok, sad joke.

i also saw that clip about that girl suplexing the mugger. this just goes to show you that if you're ever shopping with a lot of ladies around, you let them pick out the items they want FIRST. then, you take the leftovers. not unless you want a serious a$$-whooping.

btw, AC, i think this could have been one of those topics that could have been in the revised 'd-addicts site status?' thread. is that what you were talking about?

Is it really all that bad that when a (hunkalicious) gorgeous Japanese (or Asian) guy walks by and my husband catches me do a double (sometimes, triple) take?

Or that everytime I log on and see Hideaki Takizawa, I want to spontaneously combust?

(Not my fault God make Japanese guys so hot!)

The girl in the clip is a prowrestler and the dude is a stunt man.

That's pretty much what I was trying to get at before. Talk about D-addicts.com and perhaps some things that people got from the site and whatnot rather than the "is it down?" stuff. But it's okay.

Hey Ushi, good to see you.
