Finally got to see Mt. Fuji! (It was too hazy or cloudy on my last trip.) This is from the shinkansen going to Kyoto. Anybody who takes that line, be sure to grab an "E" seat, as that is the widow seat on the Mt. Fuji side. I was lucky and got the last one in the car.

Your Golden Hour photo in Ginza is awesome.
Thank you! Yeah my friend, who lives in Tokyo, and I both stopped to take photographs because the lighting was just perfect. It's so cool that on Sundays they close down the street in Ginza so you can actually walk on it freely.

When I visited Kiyomizudera in November of 2012, I was so impressed with the amazing fall foliage. As you well know, Tu, we here in Southern California have nothing like that.
That is so true. I guess that what makes it look so wondrous to us, aside from the fact it is simply beautiful.

Btw. has anyone been to Hokkaido?
My next visit, im pondering to add Hokkaido aside from Osaka and Hiroshima.
Some videos from Noboribetsu Hokkaido. Click to view.
The view from the balcony of my room at the ryokan I stayed in...forest blanketed in snow.
This next scene was AMAZING. Here is the private rotenburo (outdoor bath) on the balcony of my room. It was literally snowing a few feet from the bath as I soaked in the stone bath that is supplied with naturally hot water from local volcanic hot springs.
It was like a scene straight out of a movie
