I wonder if this guy is going to call back.. I'm only still up because I think Pizza Hut lied and did not deliver my pizza and I'm so starved, I'm not driving out this time of night.

spending gifts, hmmm...i spent probably under a $100 in gifts for people, and much more on myself. Probably because i am so much into anime and j-idols, must've have spent $400 on myself atleast. $100 in photobooks alone.

I think it's just not as big a trend as it used to be. While I was there the past two weeks I still saw some girls wearing them, though not as many as I used to see before. _________________

But I see that short skirts aren't out of style.
no shiet...it's kinda ridiculous.....might as well not even have a uniform if you're going to let the skirts get that short.....there's not much uniform there....

You got that right. Although I've heard that girls in Niigata (or somewhere north) wear even shorter skirts...I think that's called underwear.

Where did you exchange your money at?
u should exchange some of your dollars into yen BEFORE you leave the US...you can do it at certain branches of your bank.....most banks allow you to exchange forex online now...and have the currency shipped to your house. always good to have some forex before you land and moreover you probably will get charged less of a service or commission here than over there....word to the wise, when possible use your credit card although there are many establishments that don't accept credit cards in japan...but your hotel let's say...because when you do, you will get the exchange rate your bank gets, which is always a little better than the forex rate you get when exchanging money at the counter. this applies for travel abroad in any country

^^ Yeah what he said. Also you can exchange money at the hotels. As long as you have your passport (which you need to carry at all times, BTW) you should be able to exchange even if you are not a guest there.

oh yeah, brought more than $500 in cash, i knew this trip i wasn't going to hold back, shoulda seen how many bags me and my friend took back. 3 bags each, a poster tub, backpack and heavy luggages. Souvenirs from Japan...
exchanged my money at LAX before the actual flight to japan, could've done it at Narita, but thought i would be too tired from jetlag and didn't want to wait in any lines.
seriously, it's pointless to have uniforms at that point....can you imagine when those young girls sit down....ridiculous i tell u....
yeah, noticed that their skirts were quite high, guess the jr. high girls wear the skirts much longer, then in highschool, they put them up real high, so very high..
