Yeah... I mean, I've been ask a few times to pay my bill, because the waiter/waitress was finishing his/her shift. It took them time to realize the guy had the same clothes on everyday, wasn't ordering anything, except in the morning...
It's cheap though. Instead of sleeping in an hotel at $200 a night, you can always sleep there for 1,000 yen for nine hours. _________________

it's definitely the way to go if you only have 16 yen in your pocket.

A trip to Japan is now, somehow, cheap. You just have to buy a one way plane ticket, spend a few weeks in a cafe, then get kicked out of the country. Might even improve your Japanese by talking with the staff. _________________

Knife-wielding teen attacks sleeping mom in Hokkaido
SAPPORO -- A high-school student who stabbed his mother as she was sleeping in her home in Sapporo has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, police said.
The 16-year-old, whose name has been withheld because he is a minor, attacked his 46-year-old mother at about 2:15 a.m. on Friday, stabbing her in the chest, back and arms with a knife, police said.
After the attack, the student phoned for an ambulance. When police arrived they found the knife in the kitchen of the home. The student was reportedly acting calmly.
The injuries the student's mother suffered in the attack were reportedly not life-threatening.
Police said the 16-year-old was in a high school correspondence course. He had lived with his mother and father, but his father had been transferred on business. (Mainichi)

LOL
So he's the guy with the back pack and the lady at the begining. She signals him to stop staring at the girl and run to the back. She must be his mother. She should've let him watch. _________________
