did you see the Cosplayers in Harajuku this time, near Meijin Jingu?
no...i didn't spend much time i Harajuku, maybe an hour at most, then it was off to Shibuya and then Akihabara. I was in Akihabara again on a Sunday where they did shut down the main street and had some Akiba-tei cosplayers, but i wasn't in Harajuku on a Sunday, so i wouldn't have seen the cosplayers near Meijin Jingu, as i was just on Takeshita street and at the Harajuku Station. Lotteria Teriyaki burger wasn't too bad. lol

well i'm sure you had all the cosplay fun in akihabara.
^ I never been to Japan during the winter months, so i personally would not know by experience. I can only tell you of the warm humidity of the summer rain.
And Tokyo is quite expensive, for when traveling there. But it is worth it, if you can budget and know where to visit and see.
for those who plan on visiting Ginza, Tokyo....
i suggest visiting this fine waffle pastry place, a small little place, but oh so good waffle pastries for 157 yen a piece. I've been here three times, during each visit to Japan, '03, '05, and this July of this year, '07...that is how much i like this place, check it out.

Yeah, it'd be cool to visit Japan in the Winter, but I don't think I could deal with the cold: I'd rather be walking around Japan in shorts and a tee, rather than bundled up like an eskimo.

I've been to Tokyo a couple of time in late Autumn/Winter, and it wasn't so bad. But if I have the chance to visit Japan in winter I'd really like to go to Otaru (Hokkaido) - this is where the movie Love Letter was filmed.
