Just out of curiosity, have you been to or lived in Japan? You are so knowledgeable of Japan, their customs, food, and language etc.

I have a feeling that when you do go, you won't want to come back!
My hubby has never been either and I told him that when we do go and see the various sites and especially the country area where my aunt and cousin lives, he won't want to come back home. And the food!! It's just not pleasant in the summer with the heat and humidity.

I can deal with the heat and humidity... It's the cold that bothers me to no end.
