My family is more concerned with the cultural background of a girl/woman than the race of one.

Race means nothing to me... but to most, seemingly, that's not the case.

Although, my facination with Japanese women stems from the fact that it's so easy to share my interest of their culture with them. My interest is something that a potential gf has to accomodate.

I don't base dating on race myself but it's just nice to know that people won't take that into consideration when trying to find a date, or else they would be very limited. I have a "friend" that won't date outside of his race because he thinks it's "disgusting" to mix races. He thinx talking to an asian or blk. person makes u a person w/ an identity crisis. I think he's freakin' pathetic!!! I don't want 2 talk w/ him anymore but even though i told him that he won't steer clear from me. He thinks I'm weird because I watch korean dramas, I think he's just ignorant.

Would a woman of another race date me?? Probably not. When you're an Asian male in the US, it's hard enough to get women of your own race to date you.

An Asian male dating a non-Asian woman is rarely seen. Asian women date non-Asian men all the time. That's just the way it is. The Asian women don't even want us.
