I don't know if this may have something to do with "missing posts" others have reported ...

Right now on the home page, there is this entry under Latest posts:

5. What dramas are you curre...
Tu_triky

But I click on the arrow icon link for the latest post, and I get the message:

"No posts exist for this topic"

the URL is:
http://jdorama.com/viewpost.462770.htm#462770

Wha happen? Head Scratch

that happens to me a fair bit....so what i do to read the post because it actually exists is to go to the second to the last page of thread and you'll see the "missing" post.

for example if a thread has 565 pages...i click on page 564 and scroll down and the last page will be the newest, "missing" post

Okey dokey. Glad it's not just me. Otherwise, I might think I'm going crazy, heh heh. I mean, crazier.

Still, it might be something that can be fixed.

Well, if it can be, no one's done it yet... The problemw that thread alsop occurs with one of the threads in the Dramas forum... Grumble

Sometime ago, the server/system glitched and those two threads (maybe others as well) alway have that message pop up when start of a new page comes around...

They did change servers, obviously keeping the old ip in your hosts file would cause issues, it actually seems quite abit faster for me, but I guess it depends on your isp and where you live.

Thank you for the confirmation. Do you know the IP address of the new server? It seems to me that having an address entry in the host file gives faster access.

I think it's a blown transtator.

At least that's what Scotty says.

So that's what you were doing while you were away: learning another language. Victory! Peace!

Noticed this the other day:

Threads that have been moved to other forums still have their original threads lingering around... Before, that moved thread would linger in the originating forum for only a while, then it would disappear... Something's changed in the forum software, huh? Sweat

I remember the site was attacked last year. We were running a slightly older version of phpbb then. I can't think of anything recent....I could be wrong. Ruroshin and/or Genma would know.
