Looks like she'll never furfilled her dream of becoming a bond girl. At 25 in Japan you're an obasan and she's 35. Her career can only go downhill from here. _________________

Sword saga notches spot on list
Shigefumi Takasuka / Daily Yomiuri Staff Writer
Since May, Showa Women's University President Mariko Bando's Josei no Hinkaku has been at the top of the best-seller list compiled by Tohan Co., a leading book distribution company. In her book, Bando discusses the values of traditional womanhood in modern society.
Second and third places are occupied by books sold together with DVDs. Both are produced by Yukuko Tanaka, a charismatic hair-and-makeup artist. She explains her special cosmetic massage techniques for face and body in her books.
In the fourth spot is the ninth volume of Katana Gatari, a serialized period novel. A new installment will be published every month until December.
Norika Body!, a photo book explaining how to develop a well-proportioned body like that of actress Norika Fujiwara, is in fifth place and Boku, Otariman 2, a comical essay that originally appeared on an Internet blog, is sixth.
Kankaryoku, the seventh-ranking best-seller, is a business book written by Ryuho Okawa, whose Institute for Research in Human Happiness has grown to be one of the biggest religious groups in Japan in just 20 years.
Higurashi no Nakukoro ni Dai Ichiwa: Onikakushi Hen Gekan, in eighth place, is a novelization of a popular computer game that has also spawned an audio drama, a manga and an animated cartoon. There are plans to make it into a film.
Ninth is Totsukawa Keibu Futatsu no Kinin no Nazo written by Kyotaro Nishimura, one of the most popular mystery writers in the country. In this latest book of his long-running series, Metropolitan Police Department Inspector Shozo Totsukawa travels from Tokyo to Kyoto and Fukuoka to solve a serial murder case.
The 10th place is occupied by Shiyaku Tannisho, an unofficial translation of the Buddhist philosophy taught by Shinran (1173-1263) into modern Japanese. Novelist Hiroyuki Itsuki interprets the centuries-old teachings of the Jodo Shinshu sect founder for readers living today.

Sat, September 22, 2007 (4:09am EDT)
On Friday, the All Japan Radio and Television Commercial Confederation (or ACC) announced the winners of the 47th ACC CM Festival. The annual event gathers radio and television ad producers to compete for the title of best commercial.
The winner in the television category was a series of ads for Hitachi Maxell DVDs, which can be viewed on the campaign's site. In the radio category, an ad for the National brand of air cleaners (Matsushita Electric Industrial) took the grand prize.
Both commercials also won the Journalist Award, which are judged by a committee representing newspapers and news programs.
Among the festival's special awards are Best Performance honors, given this year to Tomoya Nagase, Norika Fujiwara, Kohei Otomo, Miya Motojima, and Tommy Lee Jones.

No sh*t.
Here's the cover. Either the image has been photoshop a lot or she spent 6 hours in the gym for the past 6 months. Not that she was fat, but IIRC, she had some junk in the trunk.
