Sounds interesting.....

I was born around the time of Return of the Jedi. I didn't actually see the Star Wars trilogy until I was like 10 or 11 years old, by then it was the mid 90s so I wasn't old enough to actually see the films when they first came out. But I love Star Wars.

Well, the original trilogy that is. Episode I and II aren't nearly as good.

This is so cool. I love these movies, and they hold fond memories for me of my dad taking me to the theatre to see the last 2

Heh. No ya don't. They're a pain. Especially when you have to change out discs just for one movie... Bleah. But it was the only game in town at the time...

Hey, there's nothing wrong with laser disc!!!!! A ton of FUJI-TV stuff from the early 1990's can only be found on VHS and laser disc (UTSR and Imouto Yo being two of them).

As for Star Wars, it really depends on which set you have... If you have the limited release with the AC3 audio and wide-screen video, then you have something veeeeeeeeeery special!

Nope. I've got the nine-disc THX-certified Dolby 2.0 CAV widescreen trilogy. I think the AC-3/DD version came out a couple of years later. Sad

Lucus just realised that if he waits too much longer then HDDVD will arrive and he'll miss the chance to sell it to us twice (or 4 times with super special editions) Rolly
