this movie rocks! forget the plot synopsis, i watched it without subtitles and didn't understand anything, but the action sequences were amazing! all done without wires and special effects which is quite rare these days and made it look good. Tony Ja's acrobatic and muy thai prowess is insane! i wouldn't have wanted to be a stuntman in that movie... this movie is like every stuntman's nightmare...

I saw the North American premier in Toronto, and it was subtitled. Actually I do understand the language so it was a little distracting to read the test. Did you notice how much elbow and knees that he used to knock out his opponents.

I saw this on Friday..its a good movie..if you're expecting alot of fight scenes like the first you'll be disappointed..it focuses more on the storyline..which is an awesome one to boot!

Yeah looks good, I heard it's a little indulgent...
Fighting doesn't really matter... Quentin's already made Vol. 1 his 'bloody picture'... I enjoy his characters' dialogue more anyway.

Before the movie starts..theres a preview of Quentin Tarantino's other movie called Hero starring Jet Li..martial art stuff..and it's an all asian cast..I think he's quite fond of asian cultures.

I watched the first episode and it was totally stupid... A chinese kungfu movies from the 80s or 90s would've been better... It's not scary, it's not artistic, and not funny at all... Unless u really enjoy seeing blood squirting out of someone's body when they just lost a body part (it's all over the movie..) I don't see how u can enjoy this movie

i just saw kill bill vol. 2 last night. it was quite good but did not live up to the first half of the movie. still worth seeing though, especially if you already saw the first half.

I don't know if I plan to see Vol. 2, because I saw Vol. 1 and I was not owned. Everybody raved about it, but I wasn't really enthused when I saw it. I kinda like Quentin Tarantino...seems like a cool guy. I liked Pulp Fiction, but his other movies don't really get me sucked in much. Basically I'm the only one I know that didn't really like Kill Bill Vol. 1. Sweat

i know where your coming from. actually, a lot of my friends didn't really care for the movie itself. they thought it was just plain stupid. and yea, pulp fiction was wayyy better then kill bill.

Okay, made it back... Had to stop over for sushi , though. hehe

********** NO SPOILERS **********

All I can say is that it was considerably different from Volume 1... And that's sorta good and sorta bad... Pretty fascinating dialogue... Like Volume 1, there was too much emphasis on visual style... And like Volume 1, I give it a 7 on a scale of 10, but I don't see myself buying the DVDs....

I'll save my money for all of the Zatoichi DVDs starring Katsu Shintaro. Big Grin
