Then again, maybe wefll make an exception for Luke, Han, Leia and Darth. But are Jar Jar and Qui-Gon Jinn (who?) really worth the $15-plus price of a 3-D movie ticket?

You tell me.

Jar Jar and Qui-Gon Jinn are definitely NOT worth the $15 plus price. I wouldn't even go if it was free. The original Star Wars movies, however, might be worthwhile. Guess I'll have to wait.

I'm still not sold on the whole 3-D gimmick.

I'll take movie quality over gimmicks any day of the week.

true, true. i think the 3-D phenomenon is just a ploy to attract the general public back to the movie theaters since the attendance has been falling for quite some time. it's fun to try out 3-d out, but it tends to distract more than enhance.

Yup.

I pity those people who are running out and buying all that 3-D hardware just to watch a handful of 3-D movies... Crazy

Attendance still fell this summer, but ticket sales were up. This was due to people paying more to see those 3-D movies.

Just watch Harry Brown starring Michael Caine. A gritty story of retribution. Entertaining.

Oh, every now and again lower my standards and watch films from the West, Muack though these certainly are not lower on anyone's standards. Victory! Peace!

They made more? Oh yeah, I simply refuse to acknowledge the existence of any more.hehe

That movie has "suck" written all over it. A shitty, stoner-movie actor as the Green Hornet and some girly Taiwanese singer as Kato. Their CGI fight scenes don't even start to compare with Bruce Lee's level of awesome.

Yeah, the others were okay but don't come close to those 2, actually not many movies do. Shake Head Harry was one tough dude back in those days, was wondering during those watches, could he have been the one person to capture Nami Matsushima, all others have failed badly. hehe Hmmmm, Harry vs. Nami may have worked as nice movie series back then, Harry prowling the back streets of Tokyo may have proved to be quite interesting. Crazy

Given Harry Callahan's track record, he would have had her caught only long enough to ask her if he had fired six shots........or only five.

WOW! Black Swan was AMAZING! Mind you, it'll be a while before I can stomach watching it again. But it was very clever. I really really hope Natalie Portman gets the Oscar.
