What did the audience do during that scene? hehe

Well, for pretty much all of the scenes like it, there was a collective "OUCH!" from the males. Beaten hehe

Which was your favorite story? I've always been partial to "The Big Fat Kill," because I like Dwight and Miho.

Mine was the second story with the ugly guy and "Goldie". The man refused to die!

You know...the movie and comix are absolute fiction, but I'm right behind Hartigan in taking away "BOTH" of Junior/Yellow Bastards weapons. Should be done right away for repeat offenders in the real world too.

Lorena bobbit!! Shocked

Sweat Ichi the Killer is very violent and now this one..I dunno if I have the heart to watch it. I'm a chick who likes action flick (well, martial arts mostly) but hearing a bit of a spoiler like this makes me think twice to watch it.

I think you could probably handle this one if you saw Ichi...Sin City is tough and violent, but it's not even in the same realm of sadism that Ichi was.... bleh

Sin City is a work of pure art, which off-sets everything else.

Oh yeah...Marv and Goldie was from the original "Sin City" comix...I guess it's now titled "The Hard Goodbye." I still have a hardback edition of "Sin City," along with "The Big Fat Kill."

I liked "That Yellow Bastard" too.... hell, I like all of them. Can't wait until the next Sin City movie. Hopefully it'll have "Family Values" in it...Miho goes on a killing spree in that one that makes what she did to Jackie Boy and his gang pale in comparison.

heard this was a really great martial arts movie. i'll have to see it. my friend told me that the early releases were only on vcd w/ no english subs. if i'm not mistaken, it is now available on dvd (w/ eng subs) for sale and rentals. perhaps netflix, blockbuster, yesasia, or dvdempire.

It's an interesting movie. Tony Jaa the actor does all the tumbling and stunts and fighting without wirework.

It's Thai boxing and it looks deadly. Not much of a story but if you enjoy a bit of violence, it should do. Naughty

You can catch those "Black Belt Theatre" type English-dubbed kung fu flicks on International Networks' AZN Television's "Kung Fu Theatre." Here's AZN's website:

http://www.azntv.com/home.asp

http://www.azntv.com/azntv/movies.asp

They're supposed to show Kickboxer's Tears pretty soon.

They've been showing some decent Japanese films, too (Inugami, Hotel Hibiscus, Drive).

The Man has this network on his terebi Victory! Peace! .

I've never read any of the graphic novels so I didn't know too much about this movie. When that evil yellow guy first appeared, I thought it was a Ferengi from Star Trek. Crazy
