Whoa. That's a big list, Akakage. They're all DVDs??
Well...most of them are DVDs, only some are in the form of VCD. Since there's no website for vcd catalog like that dvdaficionado, so I just list it in, he..he..he.. It keeps me on track on what I've owned Most of the J-movies that I have are in DVD form.
The Return of Sonny
Chiba Shinichi (64), better known as action star Sonny Chiba, is enjoying something of a revival in his home country. He appears in the new Quentin Tarrantino film Kill Bill and has been busy doing TV appearances to promote the movie. The director and star Uma Thurman have also been in town. Chiba is a relative unknown for younger Japanese, though he was a peer of Bruce Lee and a pioneer in Hollywood martial arts movies way before Jet Lee or even Jackie Chan. Tarantino has called him "the greatest actor to ever work in martial arts films!" Sanada Hiroyuki, one of Japan's most talented movie stars, got his start as a protege of Chiba.
Can't remember non-asia titles, haven't watched any good Hollywood flicks for a while. hmm...The Goonies!
I love the movie! It has all the element you mentioned above. One of the best movies I've ever seen. They should make this type of "Indiana Jones-like" adventure movies in the market, they produce crappy conveyor belt movies instead, ugh.
The Goonies was the only US release DVD I bought, hehe. A masterpiece A must watch!

i've watched pretty woman and where the heart is...
pretty woman is one of my dad all time favourite..
and i like it too...
where the heart is was good... but its not really romantic... but dont get me wrong.. i love this one.. just that the curly hair guy wasnt that handsome..
anyway, can someone tell me the storyline and cast for SABRINA. issit Sabrina the teenage witch the movie??
and infos on Scent of a Woman and My Fair Lady/
Sabrina i think was a remark of an old classic movie starring Audry Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart.
Yes. The original with Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, and William Holden is much better than the remake with Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond, and Greg Kinnear...
I have to put in my two-cents... I just love Sleepless in Seattle!!!! I'm a HUGE Meg Ryan fanatic (well, not as big as I am about Sakai Noriko, but close)... I first started watching Meg when I was totally into American soap operas during my college days, especially As the World Turns.
Anyway... That movie is one of several that made me cry.
Also, my second runner-up for American romantic/love movies is Ghost. I was teery-eyed almost througout the 2nd half of the movie. It is one of the only movies of Demi Moore that I really like.
I have to put in my two-cents... I just love Sleepless in Seattle!!!!
I'd have to wholeheartedly agree with you , groink... I'd have to say it's my absolute favorite romantic comedy... Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are absolutely perfect in this movie, as is the story...

Hmm... I'm not sure what you mean by something like walk to remember, serendipity, at first sight, autumn in new york because I've not watched any of those hehe...
For tearjerkers: Titanic...
For comedy: There's something about Mary, George of the Jungle
For sweet, touching & romantic: Runaway Bride
I seldom watch movies... I can even count how many times I've been to the cinema: 10 times!
I watched:
X-Men 2
Finding Nemo
Casper
Runaway Bride
Star Wars I
LoTR II
Harry Potter II
Jurassic Park
Army Daze (Singapore Movie)
Turn Left Turn Right
