What the frick is Ellen Page wearing in that shot??!! Haha I think she's hot but wow the makeup treatment and her clothing do not go hand in hand in that picture.
To stay on topic, Satomi looks grand as always. Bonk

Maybe her makeup artist tried to maintain her Juno looks.

I wonder what Japanese star would say to Foreign star in this kind of event. Just welcome them?

Anyway, Satomi is gorgeous in that dress.

It's not like what you thought.
Satomi just welcomes Ellen Page to Japan in Juno premiere, I guess.

Yea, this is what I'm guessing. Page was visiting Japan and Satomi welcomed her at the premiere. Makes the most sense. Smile

Great pics! Thanks kun_cheero Applaud

Accidentally came across this little-known SP with Satomi-chan. Thought you may be interested.

It's probably called Tengoku e no Ouenka Cheers (2004) according to d-a wiki. But there is no further information about it.

Thanks xploring, but I already knew about this SP.
I managed to get this DVD here in my country, too.

This SP features a lot of then up-and-coming idols,
including Yui Ichikawa that co-starred with Satomi in H2.

I don't have time and mood to watch it yet.

Using ΌƂ(Satomi name in Japanese) as keyword in YouTube,
I find some new clips that I haven't seen before.

One of them is Juno premiere.

Awesome, Satomi tried speaking English about her PUZZLE's character with Page too.

Flying Rabbits Movie trailer (I posted the official site before)

Also Yonimo Kimyona Monogatari 2007 Fall Special in three parts

Have any of you watched PUZZLE yet?
I will start watching it next week when I will be free.

You can download the video files at d-additcts (now up to EP4).
They also have English subtitles up to EP4 as well.

Cool beans, EP4 subs are out?!
Yea I've watched 1-3 already and I think it's pretty good. Her character in the show according to Drama Wiki is 30 years old but I honestly think that is irrelevant because her script doesn't necessarily reflect that age or at least that's what I think after watching Ep 1-3. She's got a cute face and she's short so it doesn't pull off quite right.

I watched the first episode. It was quite funny how her character switches between her two personalities, and how everyone except the students think she is the model teacher. hehe But I read that the quality of the puzzles themselves are not as good as one would have hoped... Still, I enjoyed the first episode, it was fun. Smile

Satomi-chan's english is really good! Particularly considering she probably didn't have time for a normal high school life. I'm impressed too. Thanks for the links.

Wah, I thought no one here has watched it since you guys didn't mention about it before.

Some news about Satomi new movie.

Porno Graffiti ties up with "Flying Rabbits"
Tue, May 13, 2008 (11:08am EDT)
This fall, Porno Graffiti is releasing a new single titled "Gift," which will be used as the theme song to director Takahisa Zeze's movie "Flying Rabbits," in theaters on September 13.

The movie was first announced last July. It is based on a novel by writer Yusuke Fukada about the women's basketball team JAL Rabbits (affiliated with the airline JAL). Satomi Ishihara is playing the lead role.

Porno Graffiti will be heading into their 10th year since their debut on September 8. The duo has several other projects lined up this year to commemorate the occasion, including another single, "Itai Tachi Ichi," that goes on sale June 25. They also have concerts lined up at Yokohama Stadium on September 6-7 and at the Akashi Kaikyo National Government Park in Awaji on September 14-15.

Yeah, PUZZLE rating is not quite good after 1st episode.
01 14.1
02 10.9
03 11.0
04 09.2
But I will watch it anyway. Those numbers don't matter to me.

Satomi pic from her latest report (16.05.08) on horipro website.
http://www.horipro.co.jp/talent/PF070/report.html

This is not the first time Satomi is incredibly kawaii with her bread.
Check out pics from another report (13.10.07) below.

I like the last pic she looks like a rabbit or something.
