the one she's wearing, given the fact she is an up and coming big star now, probably over a grand, and my guesstimate was off, the common ones i saw in the store windows of kyoto/tokyo where in that range, 15,000 yen and up, probably more for tourist..
the higher end ones that Tu is talking about, 150,000 yen is more likely.

conversion when i went there was close to 105yen = $1, just about, not sure what it is now, Tu, got any idea?

i went there and i i only downloaded this one ice cream ad...she's running along the beach...nice website.

wow, you actually went to an event where satomi ishihara took pictures WITH her fans??? that sounds awesome...and it sounds like an incredibly rare experience....most celebrities are not that gracious with their time...

yeah good point...but still...i agree with you that she doesn't have the mega A+ celebrity status of an aya ueto, for example, but still you cannot consider her a no-name person...she's acted in several dramas now and she has a handful of celebrity endorsements....as well as a syashinshu, etc. etc.
